Okay so, Hi. I’m returning after a bit of an (involuntary) break from our newsletter. This past month has been tough, like the holidays can be when you’re born into a family like mine (ie. very dysfunctional). BUT! This always remind me what can happen if you stop working on yourself and start giving into your less attractive traits. So I’m back this new year with renewed motivation to get over some of the bad anxieties I’ve had since I was a kid, one of them being…dogs!

I like dogs a lot, that was never the problem. I was just never allowed to have one long enough before it was taken away from me because of some lame excuse. Then I realized. I’m 35. No one can take a dog away from me anymore.

Baby Ash is a 4-month old Border Collie Australian Shepherd mix and he’s the sweetest tornado you’ll meet. Look at his little eyes!

I’ll take him running with me when he’s old enough, and I’d love to hear some advice in the comment if any of you run with your pet! I’m ecstatic. I have a puppy. I still can’t believe it :)

This month was not all puppy cuddles, though. I did work. I wrapped up Love Everlasting #10 over Christmas and have already jumped on #11. It’s been a little while since I shared some pencils, so here are some of my favorites from #8, which we will release next Wednesday.

Original Art Drop coming up

I’ll be doing an original art drop next week, on Tuesday, January 24th at 8am PST. The inks for the first five issues of Love Everlasting will be available, PLUS, pencils like the ones above. These are 8’ by 12’, more affordable than full format inks. I think it could be a great way to make original art available to more people plus you get to see my notes and screw ups :)

By then my store will have moved, on my new website. Keep your eyes peeled for an email with the link to the art!
