Big Announcement: Tales of the Human Target!

Awesome news!!

While we wait for Human Target to resume in September, we’re putting out a Human Target one shot special: ”Tales of The Human Target” with three interlocking stories written by me and drawn by (insanely!) Kevin Maguire, Mikel Janin, and Rafael Albuquerque! That’s a hell of an art line up.

Here’s the preview copy:

TALES OF THE HUMAN TARGET #1: Building on the most critically acclaimed series of the year, Tom King and three of comics’ top artists tell the tales of what happened before Chance drank Luthor’s poison. Chance teams up with fan favorite member of the JLI in four connecting mysteries that lead them to that fateful day when one them will kill the Human Target.  

The issue will feature Maguire drawing a Human Target/Booster Gold story, Janin drawing a Human Target/Fire story, and Albuquerue drawing a Human Target/Guy Gardner story—all of which add up to one story and each of which will provide background and clues for the big mystery in the main series…who killed Christopher Chance?

Revealed below for the first time are the three astounding covers for the issue by Greg Smallwood, David Marquez, and Jorge Jimenez. (So, so good.)

Can’t wait for you all to read this one. It’s going to be epic. It’s going to be crazy. And it’s going to be beautiful.
