Last day to pre-order LOVE EVERLASTING #2 + Terry Dodson's cover process!

It’s a fine Monday for an FOC!

Final Order Cut-off, aka, Last Day to Pre-order Love Everlasting #2 is upon us! In fact, it is right now.

Annnd you know what that means, don’t you ? :) Pick your cover between the three we’re offering this month, and let your retailer know by the end of the day.

You’ve got my cover, Alison Sampson's beautiful virgin playing card variant and Terry and Rachel Dodson’s homage to the great Leyendecker.

The pre-order drop between an #1 and an #2 is a known phenomenon. Some people will not want to continue reading, others have purchased #1 covers purely because they’re collectors, and finally other people will simply forget to keep ordering the series. #2 pre-orders will pretty much determine the future success of a series. It’s all the more important when you’re talking about an ongoing series like Love Everlasting (where you need good enough numbers to keep going!)

Note: Terry Dodson’s cover was added to Previews after the fact and I have doubts about the reliability of the Diamond Code on this one. You may want to check directly with your retailer.

We had a great chat about his new habit of working on a big format (17’ by 23’). He showed some original art on camera and we compared it to my teeny tiny 7’ by 10’ pencils.
