Elsa here! As Tom and I are waking up, dumbfounded by the number of new Love Everlastingfans who joined up yesterday (and are still joining at an insane rate!), BIG THANKS are in order! Every time I launched a new initiative whose success entirely depends on comic fans showing up, I get blown away by how supportive and willing to give creators a chance you all are.So, again, thank you for the bottom of our hearts. We knew this could be a unique new way of sharing our passion for comics and Love Everlasting, so we’re glad you share the excitement!

Oh, and it case there was still any doubt in your mind: every issue of the book will be free, and released on a monthly basis! I know that’s hard to believe :)

`Okay, what next?`

We have got process posts lined up in the coming days. The first one being Tom’s deep dive into what Love Everlasting truly is, as a story, followed by the actual pitch he emailed me to sell me on the idea. Incidentally, it’s one of the best pitches I’ve ever read and it gave me a lot of tips on how to handle my own for the future. Also, a podcast and a livestream of me inking a page! (you’ll receive a link to sign up if you are a paying subscriber).When Tom talked about process content in the Substack introduction, that’s what he meant: actual posts that will either help you as a creator and/or quench your comic fan thirst for behind-the-scenes.
